Tyskland: smittsamma sjukdomar sprids från illegala infiltranter.
- En ny rapport från Robert Koch-institutet (RKI), den federala regeringens centrala institution för övervakning och förebyggande av sjukdomar, bekräftar en ökning av sjukdomen sedan 2015, då Tyskland tog in ett oöverträffat antal invandrare.
- Några läkare säger att det faktiska antalet fall av tuberkulos är mycket högre än vad de officiella siffrorna föreslår och har anklagat RKI för att nergradera hotet i ett försök att undvika att driva negativa invandrarkänslor.
- "Omkring 700 000 till 800 000 asylansökningar har lämnats in och 300 000 flyktingar har försvunnit. Har de blivit kontrollerade? Kommer de från högriskländerna?" - Carsten Boos, ortopedisk kirurg, intervju med Focus magazine.

- During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office. This is equivalent to 780 crimes committed by migrants every day, an increase of nearly 40% over 2015. The data includes only those crimes in which a suspect has been caught.
- Thousands of migrants who entered the country as "asylum seekers" or "refugees" have gone missing. They are, presumably, economic migrants who entered Germany on false pretenses. Many are thought to be engaging in robbery and criminal violence.
- Local police in many parts of the country admit that they are stretched to the limit and are unable to maintain law and order.
- "Drug trafficking takes place right before our eyes. If we intervene, we are threatened, spat on, insulted. Sometimes someone whips out a knife. They are always the same people. They are ruthless, fearless and have no problems with robbing even the elderly." — Private security guard.
- According to Freddi Lohse of the German Police Union in Hamburg, many migrant offenders view the leniency of the German justice system as a green light to continue delinquent behavior. "They are used to tougher consequences in their home countries," he said. "They have no respect for us."

According to the report, the BND has also been spying on the American space agency NASA, the US Air Force, the US State Department, and American diplomats across Europe. In addition, the interior ministers of Austria and Belgium, the British Ministry of Defense and the main headquarters of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were also targeted.

In October, Der Spiegel reported that the BND was spying on the US Department of the Interior, different European countries and even the Vatican. In addition German intelligence reportedly eavesdropped on conversations of American diplomats stationed in Brussels and in the UN.
The BND also had emails, phones and faxes of embassies and consulate belonging to the US, UK, France, Sweden, Spain and other countries under constant monitoring.
German intelligence wasn't just spying on nation states. According to Der Spiegel, it also spied on international organizations, like the Red Cross's headquarters in Geneva.
In 2013, the BND reportedly made a decision to stop spying on European Union member states, as well as NATO officials, but it appears the espionage continued.
Also in 2013, the German government learned that the United States was spying on Chancellor Angela Merkel, leading to an international uproar and strained ties between the two nations. Mekel condemned the American spying and told US President Barack Obama: "Spying between friends, that's just not done."

The German military has decided to lease Heron TP unmanned aerial vehicles produced by Israel Aerospace Industries to defend its troops, Germany's defense minister said Tuesday.
"This is about drones that can be armed, that will be standard in the future," Ursula von der Leyen said, adding, "It is important for the protection of soldiers." The selection is also backed by German army chief Volker Wieker.
The Heron TP, which has a range of about 7,400 kilometers and a maximum flight time of over 70 hours, can be used for strike missions, reconnaissance and surveillance, among other tasks.
Reports said up to five Heron TP UAVs, costing approximately 580 million euros, will operate out of Israel starting in 2018. German troops in Afghanistan are currently using unarmed versions of the drone. Germany decided to lease the Herons rather than purchase US-made Predator B UAVs.
