Varför arbetar Tillerson mot Trump?
Har du också observerat oredan? Trump får snarast ta in Bolton för att få ta in kunskapsmässig hjälp.

Iran: Regime Change is Within Reach
The following is a transcript of Ambassador John Bolton's speech to the Grand Gathering of Iranians for Free Iran, on July 1, 2017.
It's a great pleasure and an honor to be with you again here today. I must say, we come at a time of really extraordinary events in the United States that the distinguish today from the circumstances one year ago. Contrary to what virtually every political commentator said, contrary to what almost every public opinion poll said, contrary to what many people said around the world, Barack Obama's first Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States.
So for the first time in at least eight years that I've been coming to this event, I can say that we have a president of the United States who is completely and totally opposed to the regime in Tehran. This is the true feeling of the president, and he's made it very clear -- he made it clear during the election campaign last year, he's made it clear numerous statements and even in tweets since then; he completely opposes the Iran nuclear deal signed by his predecessor.

7 Things To Know About John Bolton
måndag 12 december 2016
John Bolton.
Min favorit som efterträdare till Kerry, som inte lyckats med mer än Obama. Sök efter honom på denna bloggen så ser du varför.
And enough Republicans were skeptical of him that in 2005, George W. Bush had to force his appointment as UN ambassador unilaterally, during a congressional recess.
But the former ambassador is now likely to have a place in Trump’s small national security circle, considered his top pick for deputy secretary of state.
Bolton advocated for the toppling of Saddam Hussein well before the Second Iraq War began, lobbying president Bill Clinton to overthrow him in 1998. He does not believe in the UN as an organization, either as an idea or in practice.
He has suggested a “three-state solution” in which Israel cedes security control of the Gaza Strip to Egypt and of the West Bank to Jordan. He questions whether Palestinians are a people with a right to self-determination.
The former diplomat has repeatedly suggested war with Iran, and believes that President Barack Obama has been unacceptably weak on Russia and on Syria’s nominal president, Bashar Assad. He believes the US should lead an effort to found a “State of Sunnistan” that will govern the territories a destroyed Islamic State leaves behind, because, in his words, the countries of Syria and Iraq no longer exist.
His potential boss believes in none of these things: President-elect Trump claims he opposed the Iraq War that he called a “disaster,” seeks a two-state solution on Israeli terms, wants to limit US military engagements and has aligned himself with Russia on the Syrian war. He does not believe in US nation-building abroad.
And so Trump’s affinity for Bolton offers Americans a confused message.
It suggests the incoming president’s worldview is still a work in progress, or alternatively that he seeks to surround himself with men of hard-line rhetoric. Regardless, it will be difficult for the next president to find men for the State Department who perfectly fit his unique worldview; the appearance of toughness may take precedence, policies aside.

WASHINGTON – John Bolton and Donald Trump have something in common: They have been considered jokes in Washington for many years, up until now, as their brand of strength projection is on the verge of a resurgence.
Failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2009 laughed at the mere mention of Bolton’s name: “If President Obama walked on water, he [Bolton] would say he couldn’t swim,” she said.

Because Donald Trump has zero foreign policy chops, he will delegate that job to his new secretary of state. With every passing day, it appears the person to fill that job will be John Bolton, a diehard neocon.
On Saturday Bolton spelled out what he considers to be the foreign policy priorities of the new administration.
Bolton writes the top concern for America on the foreign policy front are “the closely related threats of radical Islamic terrorism and the Middle East’s spreading chaos.”

Potential Trump Secretary of State: Killing Iran Nuclear Deal ‘Courageous but Necessary’ Step Incoming Administration Must Take
by Barney Breen-Portnoy
Revoking the Iran nuclear deal is a “courageous but necessary” step President-elect Donald Trump must take after he enters the White House in January, a former US ambassador to the UN said on Sunday.
“[T]he unambiguous signal it would send worldwide cannot be underestimated,” John Bolton — who has been touted as a potential secretary of state in the incoming Trump administration — wrote in a New York Post op-ed.
Bolton slammed outgoing President Barack Obama’s foreign affairs conduct during his two terms in office, saying, “[T]he world is more dangerous today than eight years ago.”
Obama’s foreign policy legacy, Bolton said, “includes reduced American global influence, dramatically underfunded military and intelligence capabilities, and rising concern among longtime allies about Washington’s understanding of international threats. A world of nuclear-weapons proliferation and growing radical Islamic terrorism are the consequences.”
According to Bolton, Trump will face “his most immediate international challenges” in the Middle East.
Referring to the threat posed by the Islamic State group, Bolton said, “President-elect Trump has been emphatic that destroying ISIS must be an urgent priority, not Obama’s slow-motion approach that has simply allowed ISIS to continue recruiting adherents and training and deploying terrorists throughout the West. In addition, however, a Trump anti-ISIS strategy must also correct Obama’s misguided reliance on the Baghdad government, which has become little more than an Iranian puppet. In this complex multi-sided war, the defeat of any combatant inevitably advantages all the others. The goal should be to destroy ISIS while benefiting Iran to the least extent possible.”
After ISIS is defeated, Bolton said, “Sunni Arabs who previously supported ISIS (or accepted it because they could not resist) will not again be quietly relegated to the tender mercies of an Iran-dominated Iraqi government or Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria…Either a new state must be created out of the wreckage of Syria and Iraq, or some other durable approach must be found…In the midst of this wasteland that has developed over the past eight years, Israel and America’s Arab friends are desperately waiting for a strong American president who understands who his friends are.”
In an interview with The Algemeiner last week, an expert on the Islamic Republic said Iran feared it could be the “big loser” from Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in last Tuesday’s presidential election.
“I think the reactions we’ve seen from Iran — the urging of Trump to maintain the nuclear deal, the warning that he can’t roll it back — suggest that they’re worried about the fact that existing US policy, which is very favorable to Iran, could change pretty substantially over the course of the next several months,” Ilan Berman — of the Washington, DC-based conservative think tank the American Foreign Policy Council — said.

Ambassador John Bolton: Netanyahu’s Behavior, Strategy ‘Sensible’ in Face of US Abandonment
by Ruthie Blum

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is doing what is sensible, from the perspective of a leader of a country whose principle ally, America, appears to be abandoning it, a former United States ambassador to the United Nations told The Algemeiner on Thursday.
John Bolton, who — during his tenure at the UN from August 2005 until December 2006 — was responsible for having General Assembly Resolution 3379 (more commonly known as “Zionism is racism”) rescinded, was responding to a query about Netanyahu’s recent visits to Moscow, rapprochement agreement with Turkey and bolstering of ties with African nations and with those Arab countries concerned about Iran’s ability to acquire nuclear weapons.
“Now, I understand that the US has just signed this ‘wonderful’ Memorandum of Understanding with Israel, which the administration in Washington correctly says represents the largest military-aid package over time in its history. But it’s inadequate and everybody knows it,” said Bolton, during an event held by the Gatestone Institute— a New York-based think tank that specializes in strategy and defense — on the day that Netanyahu addressed the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.
Bolton, who serves as Gatestone’s chairman, added that, during a recent visit to Israel, he told Netanyahu that he was right to sign the MoU, and that “if the election has the right outcome, he should re-open it – something that would be met with great receptivity. The greater risk would have been not signing an agreement, and getting an administration after the presidential elections that gave an even worse deal.”
Bolton continued:
It’s understandable, although unhappy, that Netanyahu is trying to make accommodations with the likes of Turkey and Russia. But if he can’t count on the United States – and he certainly can’t count on Western Europe – he has to do what he can to mitigate the potential threats from them and their friends around the region. We know that Russia has enormous influence with the Assad regime in Syria, which wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for Russia and Iran, and influence, obviously, with Iran itself.Where Egypt is concerned, and Netanyahu’s increasingly strengthening ties with President el-Sisi, I think Netanyahu is ahead of the United States, because we ought to be finding ways to have a better relationship with that government. We’ve succeeded in the past six years, since the beginning of the Arab Spring, in alienating every significant faction of political Egypt: the military doesn’t trust us; the Muslim Brotherhood doesn’t trust us; what’s left of the more western, pro-liberal part of society doesn’t trust us…
The point, stressed Bolton, is that Netanyahu is left no recourse, due to US weakness.
“If you believed in American commitments, and if you believed we understood, as we once did, what was at stake in seemingly remote places, you wouldn’t need to do what Netanyahu has been doing – certainly not to the extent he has — or what our Arab friends, the oil-producing monarchies on the Arabian Peninsula, are doing by talking to China and Russia. They’re not moving out of the neighborhood; the neighborhood’s getting more dangerous for them, too. So they’re going to look after Number One from their perspective. And they’re worried about America’s long-term commitment.”
This, said Bolton, author, most recently, of the best-selling book, Surrender Is Not an Option, “creates a cycle of estrangement from the United States that feeds on itself. We hear politicians in America saying, ‘Our allies are ungrateful; they’re not pulling their weight.’ Well, it’s true about a lot of them. But that doesn’t mean you abandon your allies. It means you get your house in order and get back to doing basic alliance-management, which we haven’t done in the past eight years.”
